Imagination could be my middle name - and a good dose of storytelling makes spending a bit of time with me a little wacky and lots of fun! Every day I try to channel that creativity into new designs, new soaps, and a spirit of welcome for everyone who steps through the door. Welcome to Century Farmhouse! Our beautiful soaps were initially inspired by the soap my grandmother used to make and by the lovely old log cabin which was her home and is now our own. Today I work in a studio away from home, but never far away from the timeless inspiration of family and friends.

When Century Farmhouse® first began crafting soaps, they were entirely made by hand in our lovely old, log farmhouse. The business has grown, and our new studio allows up-close observation of the soap making process. The soaps are still created by hand, and we do it using only the finest plant-based oils. They are made with filtered rainwater, organic teas, maple sap, or snow; and are scented with natural essential oils. The colors come from teas, clays, or the essential oils; these soaps contain no synthetic ingredients. Care is taken to include organically grown botanicals by working directly with farmers and growers from around the world to obtain exactly the right botanicals for our special soaps.

If you are around me long enough, you'll see that travel, art, literature, & music most often inspire new ideas; new stories from which new soaps are designed.
